Zygmunt's job is to make the world's networks Quantum Safe. His team in IBM Research works with government, enterprise and industry groups on the transition from our current Public Key Cryptography to new Post-Quantum Cryptography, designed to resist attack from classic and quantum computers.

Zygmunt was one of the co-founders of the GSMA Post Quantum Telco Network Task Force. PQTN brings operators and vendors together to share experience and develop guidance for the world's mobile networks.
Previously he was the technical leader for of IBM's Global Telecom Industry and worked with clients on open APIs, network virtualization, edge computing and 5G security.
