Panel Chair: Jonathon Ellison OBE, Director for National Resilience and Future Technology, NCSC
In a contested and volatile world, raising baseline cyber security and resilience is important, but not sufficient. We face real and enduring threats from hostile states targeting critical sectors of economies and societies, and ever-more complex, interconnected systems that comprise our critical national infrastructure. This requires a step change in how we defend our critical systems and sensitive information, including better burden-sharing, and using insights and expertise to defend our assets more intelligently, and rapidly scaling up our defences when required. This session will explore how the UK Government and industry are stepping up their response, and hear from international allies, in order to progress the conversation around how we enhance the cyber security and resilience of our CNI.
