Ryan is currently the Head of Threat Operations in the NHS England CSOC responsible for the Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence teams. Threat Operations specialise in the detection of cyber security threats to the UK health and social care sector and reducing the risk of cyber security incidents impacting patient care by producing an array of specialist, threat-led capabilities to enhance security posture, monitoring and response. Ryan leads on the CSOCs integration with the National Microsoft 365 Defender, NHSmail and CSOC's Multi-Tenant Monitoring capability which is critical in delivering against the 'Defend as One' pillar to the 2023 Health and Social Care Strategy.
