Many UK organisations struggle to guard against even the most basic cyber threats. Cyber Essentials can transform this. In our efforts to transform resilience, it’s time we demand higher standards of our partners and suppliers. Cyber Essentials was born of a need to guard against the growing cyber threat. A decade later, these threats are increasing exponentially, while certification rates are growing, it’s not fast enough.
Many organisations remain vulnerable to common attacks, often through supply chains. Why don’t they adopt or demand Cyber Essentials – particularly across supply chains? What will accelerate this? Should it be mandated? And what would that mean for international ecosystems?
