Emma is currently undertaking a PhD in Cyber Security at the University of Bath (UK), focusing on the effectiveness of incident response teams. Prior to the PhD, she studied a BSc in Product Design and Technology at Loughborough University (UK) and worked for 5 years in industry as a Design Engineer for Dyson Automotive and Elvie (FemTech start-up). A passion for strategic problem-solving led her to academia to use her design skill-set to research the complex sociotechnical systemic challenges within cyber security.
