Liz James (she/her) is a Managing Security Consultant and Research & Innovation Lead in the Transport Practice at NCC Group. She holds an EngD from the University of Warwick and an MPhys from Swansea University. With expertise in cybersecurity for connected and autonomous vehicles, Liz has led multi-consultant teams on complex projects ranging from threat modeling to large-scale penetration testing. Formerly Vice-Chair of TechUK’s Intelligent Mobility & Transport, she has shaped public and private sector guidance, including work for the Department for Transport. Liz remains committed to driving innovation, fostering inclusive environments, and applying cross-domain knowledge to advance intelligent mobility and secure transport solutions.
