Bob Lord is a Senior Technical Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where he helps lead the Secure by Design initiative aimed at fundamentally improving software security across the industry. Previously, he served as Chief Security Officer at the Democratic National Committee, where he led security efforts for the Committee, state parties, and political campaigns. Bob also held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Yahoo, overseeing risk management, product security, secure software development, and combating e-crime and advanced persistent threats (APTs). Prior roles include serving as CISO in Residence at Rapid7 and pioneering Twitter's information security program as its first dedicated security professional.
