Karen Meechan is Chief Executive Officer of ScotlandIS, the membership and cluster management organisation for Scotland’s digital technology industry. She is a prominent voice in Scotland’s tech and cyber ecosystem, working at the intersection of industry, government and academia to strengthen innovation, skills and economic growth. Karen has a particular focus on cyber resilience, advocating for cyber security to be treated as a leadership and board-level priority across organisations of all sizes. As Chair of the CyberScotland Partnership, she champions collaboration across public and private sectors to improve national cyber capability and resilience. Karen regularly contributes to policy discussions and industry forums, promoting Scotland as a globally recognised, trusted and resilient digital nation.
