A Security leader with over 15 years of experience within government, professional and public sector organisations, Alan Gray is the Head of National Cyber Security and Resilience for The Scottish Government. Previously as Chief Information Security Officer for the FCDO, with responsibility for the cyber security of all core technologies and services, he was also a member of the Government Security Board as representative for the CISO community. Drawing on past experience in National Security, academia, and the private sector, Alan joined the Scottish Government in 2024 to drive the evolution of Scotland’s cyber resilience activities, and to lead the Scottish Cyber Coordination Centre (SC3).
