Lucy Jones was appointed Deputy CEO in February 2026. Prior to that, she was Head of Corporate Services at the Legal Aid Agency from June 2019. Lucy began her civil service career in prisons and over the last two decades has worked in a range of roles across the justice sector. These include victims and prisoner policy, ministerial strategy, operational delivery and transformational change.
