Scottish Event Campus_

Glasgow G3 8YW

The Scottish Event Campus is the UK's largest integrated conference and exhibition center. It started in 1985 as the bold ambition of a single venue and has evolved into a world-class campus that’s welcomed millions, hosted icons, and helped shape Scotland’s global reputation.

Find out more about the SEC, including its sustainability goals on their website here.

Read on for details on how to get to SEC, where to stay, and venue accessibility.

BY PLANE

Glasgow is served by three international airports, with connections across the world. There are over 45 flights from London a day.

Airport buses run from the airport to Glasgow city centre up to every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, and take approximately 25 minutes.

Once in the city centre, the SEC is a five-minute cab or short train ride from Glasgow Central station.

BY TRAIN / LOCAL TRANSPORT

The SEC has its own dedicated railway station – Exhibition Centre – allowing easy access from the city centre and suburbs.

There are more than 20 direct trains per day from London. Direct trains from Edinburgh run every 15 minutes on weekdays.

Once in the city centre, the SEC is a three-minute train ride from Glasgow Central. If you arrive at Queen Street, you’ll need to walk or get a bus to Central to continue your journey by train.

BY CAR

From 1st June 2023 the Glasgow City Centre Low Emission Zone (LEZ) came into force. If you’re driving to the SEC via the City Centre you may be subject to a charge, so please check your route and vehicle compliance before travelling.

Leave the M8 at junction 19 and join the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814). Westbound on the Expressway (A814) take the cut off signposted SEC East. Turn left at traffic lights and take the right lane to access multi-storey parking.

It is recommended that you do not book any travel or accommodation until your application to attend has been approved.

We are pleased to offer CYBERUK delegates access to preferential accommodation rates across Glasgow. Once your attendance is confirmed, you will receive access to the Delegate Portal, where you’ll find curated hotel options, exclusive rates, and tailored recommendations to help you plan your stay.

Whether you prefer to stay near the SEC or explore other areas of the city, Glasgow offers a wide range of accommodation, from luxury and boutique hotels to family-friendly, spa, and budget-friendly options.

We do not recommend you book accommodation until your place has been confirmed, but if you would like to explore options, please visit our accommodation website.

Both the NCSC and Scottish Event Campus are committed to creating events that are inclusive and accessible to all.
